25.11.2020 відбулась зустріч Посла України в Грузії І.Долгова з новопризначеним Послом Республіки Азербайджан в Грузії Ф.Гулієвим, який свій перший візит в Тбілісі наніс до Посольства України як свого стратегічного партнера. В ході зустрічі були обговорені актуальні питання подальшого розвитку двостороннього політичного діалогу та торговельно-економічної співпраці між Україною і Азербайджаном, можливість залучення України до проєктів з відновлення інфраструктури деокупованих територій Азербайджану. Зі свого боку, Посол Республіки Азербайджан в Грузії висловив вдячність Україні за послідовну підтримку суверенітету й територіальної цілісності Азербайджану.

On November 25, 2020 Ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia H.E. Mr. Ihor Dolhov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia H.E. Mr. Faig Guliyev, who paid his first visit to Tbilisi to the Embassy of Ukraine as his strategic partner. Important issues of further development of bilateral political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan as well as the possibility of involving Ukraine in projects to restore the infrastructure of deoccupied territories of Azerbaijan were discussed during the meeting. For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia expressed gratitude to Ukraine for its consistent support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
